These shoes are awesome; I don’t care if you disagree!
This is Visvim’s take on the Jika-Tabi (地下足袋?, “tabi that contact the ground”) shoe. It is a classic Japanese workboot with the split toe and woven upper. The price is extremely high at ~$800 dollars (You can find much cheaper style shoes here). I can’t stress enough how much detail, function, and history is expressed in every Visvim shoe. I have original suede Visvim FBTs that I purchased 3 years ago that have stood the test of time. Hell, at this price point however, these shoes better last forever.
